Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu
Arrival in Kathmandu and welcome by your guide. Transfer to your hotel and evening at leisure. Depending on your arrival time, your guide can introduce you to the old streets of Kathmandu where you an enjoy first glimpses of authentic Nepalese life.

Day 2 Drive Kathmandu to Ramechap. Flight Ramechap - Lukla (2800 m) trek to Phakding (2600 m)
If leaving for Ramechap on the same day as your flight, depart by night shuttle at 03: 00 am for Ramechhap Airport, 4-5 hrs drive. The early morning flight from Ramechhap to Lukla offers spectacular panoramic views of the eastern Himalayas; Langtang, Gauri, Shanker, Numbur, Manglungtse, and finally Everest... It is a lovely 30 min flight to Lukla (2700 m), where Sherpas are waiting for us with specialist equipment. Our trek begins with a short descent to the Dudh Koshi valley. From the village of Chaunrikarka (2621 m), the road runs north through the Sherpa villages where wheat, potatoes, corn, and vegetables are grown. We cross Dudh Koshi on a suspended wooden bridge.

Day 3 Phakding - Namche Bazaar (3440 m)
Today begins with a walk along Dudh Kosi river. Our path climbs gently upwards and crosses the river several times. We pass the village of Jorsale (2805 m) and then begin the steep ascent to Namche Bazaar. Half an hour later, we can see Everest. We arrive in Namche early enough to explore this famous Sherpa village and meet local inhabitants. Some Tibetan shops and traders here sell locally crafted jewelery and other products. Every week there is an important market in Namche, where the farmers of the neighborhood sell wheat, corn, millet, etc.

Day 4 Namche Bazaar
Enjoy a day at leisure in Namche, the most important city of this region. Numerous lodges and restaurants are found here at the starting point of treks towards Everest. It is an ideal place to rest and acclimatize to the high altitude, before our hike begins. According to your desires, we can embark on a half-day hike to the heights of Namche Bazar and the villages of Khunde and Khumjung (3780 m). Stunning landscapes of mountain pastures and small well-ordered fields await. We can admire the sunset over the Ama Dablam, Nuptse and Everest over Namache.

Day 5 Namche - Phortse (3800m)
We climb over Namche Bazaar via a gently sloping mountain trail to Mong Pass, overlooking Ama Dablam and Kantega, two of the most spectacular peaks in Nepal. We then descend to Phortse Tenga at 3600 m on the banks of the milky river (Dudu khosi) and head gently upwards to the village of Phortse (3800 m). This day enables us to perfect our acclimatization.

Day 6 Phortse - Pheriche (4270 m)
Slowly and steadily, we climb the Khumbu valley to Pangboche, a charming village dominated by Ama Dablam. For 90 minutes, we follow the Inija Khola river passing Shomare, then, we head along Lobuche Khola as far as Pheriche.

Day 7 Pheriche - Lobuche (4910 m)
Today's hike begins with a gentle hour and then our trail climbs slowly to Thokla (4620 m). From here it is a steep climb up to Thokla pass (4830 m), where there are chortens in memory fallen climbers. The path to Lobuche is rocky.

Day 8 Lobuche - Kala Pattar and / or Everest Base Camp - Gorakshep (5165m)
Early this morning we leave for Kala Pattar (5545m). We follow the lateral moraine of Khumbu glacier, a saw-tooth path in steep rocky blocks. The climb is relatively easy until Gorakshep and becomes steeper until Kala Pattar. The views are sublime, we are in the territory of the highest and most prestigious peaks in the world, in the heart of the mineral high mountain universe. When we have soaked it all in we return to Gorakshep. Free time in one of the highest villages in the world. Conditions depending, perhaps you can go to Everest Base Camp (5364 m) today, the mythical heart of the Himalayas...

Day 9 Gorakshep - Dingboche - Deboche (3710 m)
We retrace our steps to Thokla and branch off towards Dingboche, penetrating one of the wildest valleys of Khumbu. Ama Dablam and further, Makalu are simply magnificent to observe. Steep descent to Deboche. Stunning views of the Nupse, Pumori and Langtren await...

Day 10 Deboche - Tengboche - Namche Bazaar (3440 m)
Today begins with the ascent to Tengboche, the spiritual heart of Khumbu. Visit the famous monastery, a magnificent site dominated by the iconic peak of Ama Dablam. We then take the path back down through rhododendron forests to the banks of the Dudh koshi. Overnight in Namche Bazaar.

Day 11 Namche Bazaar - Lukla (2800 m)
We descend to Phakding, nestled in the valley of Dudh Khosi before returning to Lukla.

Day 12 Flight Lukla - Ramechap, then drive to Kathmandu
This morning, we catch a flight to Ramechhap and drive to Kathmandu. In clear weather, the views of the Himalayan mountains are spectacular. We stop for lunch on the way. We visit Bhaktapur on the way, a sumptuous pedestrian city located 15 km from Kathmandu ... the most beautiful of the three imperial cities of the valley. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 13 Guided tour of the Kathmandu valley
Accompanied by our guide, we discover the jewels of the valley of Kathmandu and Bhaktapur, a pedestrian city located 15 km from Kathmandu. Visit the most beautiful of the three imperial cities of the valley. After lunch, we visit Pashupatinath, a Hindu site dating back to the 12th century, a cremation place dedicated to Shiva where pilgrims come to bathe in the sacred Bagmati river... To end the day in style, we visit the great stupa of Bodhnath located in the heart of the Tibetan district where many exiled monasteries were built. At the end of the day, hundreds of fervent Buddhists visit this sacred place - a unique lively atmosphere.

Vital equipment
- Warm Sleeping Bag
- Water purifiers (micropur, aguatabs ...)
- A cap or sunhat
- 1 or 2 sets of thermals: long-sleeved thermal tops and full-length long johns
- Long sleeved and short sleeved t-shirts, preferably in quick-drying technical material
- A light fleece or equivilent (plus extra warm layers if necessary)

Luggage
- A rucksack (35-40L or 45-50L) for use as a day bag. This will contain your (vital) personal belongings for the day (sweater, spare t-shirt, water bottle, picnic-lunch, sunglasses, small things ... )
- We use porters to transport our other belongings when trekking. Please bring a flexible travel bag with zips for easy access max 80L and max 13kg (16kg with camping gear). Please do not bring suitcases or other hard bags which the porters cannot transport.
- You may also be able to store some belongings securely at the hotel in Kathmandu.
